Frequently Asked Questions

How long are the classes?

Each class is approximately an hour

How long will it take for my puppy to learn new tricks?

You will be sent weekly homework explaining the theory behind puppy behaviour and how they learn and when the critical periods of learning are. In class you will be taught how to put the theory into practice but in order for your puppy to progress further, training should be practised at home as often as possible to get the best results.

What if my puppy doesn’t have any vaccinations, can we still come to class?

Unfortunately the puppy cannot attend without proper vaccinations. Classes focus on socialising with both humans and other puppies, contact is unavoidable therefore vaccinations are mandatory.

What if my dog is older than the age limit?

If your puppy is 12 weeks old they can go into the Paws 2 class. Older dogs cannot be put into lower age classes due to the developmental learning phases that puppies go through.

What happens if I miss a class?

If you are unable to join a class please phone the trainer to let them know. You will be sent the theory and a practical video on that weeks session. No partial refunds can be given in this instance.

What if my puppy is sick and cannot attend?

Owners are welcome to come to the class without their puppy and will receive homework and observe the practical demonstrations.
